Nocturnal Antiphonal for the Trappist monastery of Melleray, including the invitatorium and responsorium as well as the antiphons for first and second nocturns. The first part contains the Proprium de tempore for the first Sunday in Advent through the Sunday after Pentecost (p. 1-210) ; the Officium defunctorum (p. [211-228]) with the remaining pages blank (p. [229-238]). The second part, with separate pagination, contains the Proprium sanctorum from St. Andrew on 30 November through St. Cecilia on 22 November (p. 1-[216]) followed by the commons of the saints, separately paginated, as follows: Commune sanctorum (p. i-v) ; Commune unius martyris (p. vi-xii), Commune apostolorum et evangelorum, tempus paschae (p. xii-xiv); Commune unius martyris et plurimus martyris, tempus paschae (p. xiv-xvi); Commune pontifici et non pontifici, tempus paschae (p. xvi-xvii). This is followed by an unpaginated section on prayers for the dedication of a church as follows: blank (p. [xxxvi]); Dedication ecclesiae (p. [xxxvii]-[lvii]); Privatis diebus intra octava dedicationis ecclesiae (p. [lvii]-[lix]), blank (p. [lx]-[lxxx]).
